May 2010 - I think the weather really added to the mood of this memorial for me.  The low cloud over the mountains in the background seemed to symbolise the terrible reality of the Second World War. Somehow the commandos look fragile against this backdrop.

The memorial is located in the Scottish Highlands near the village of Spean Bridge.
